why an account for left-handed characters?
around 10-12% of the world population is left-handed and about 1% is ambidextrous.
we are a minority.left-handed people are becoming more and more accepted today, but for decades, we were seen as bad luck, unclean and malicious to downright villainous and satanic, pretty much everywhere in the world.a lot of tools and infrastructures are thought and made for right-handed people. many of us are converted to right-handedness, either willingly, for convenience, or by force.as a left-hander, i made this account to celebrate our difference and form a sense of community.
what is this flag?
this flag is the left-handed flag. i created it for fun as a little symbol for the left-handed community.
what does it mean?
the colors of the flag all have different meanings, as well as the use of the diagonal stripe. here they are :

fun fact : the diagonal strap is called a "bend sinister" in heraldry (the study of armorial bearings).the bend was supposedly originally worn as a sign of bastardy, but other meanings exist.i chose it purely because it means "left", but also in spite of the dark history the word "sinister" has in regards to left-handedness.
can i use it?
if you're left-handed or ambidextrous, sure!
but please make sure to use it respectfully and not defile what it stands for.

- Amputees, ambidextrous and possibly-left-handed characters are allowed. be mindful of potential spoilers.
- Villainous characters are also allowed, but not encouraged. we're trying to break stereotypes here.
- if a character is only left-handed in certain adaptations, please specify which you're referring to.
- if possible, please provide pictures depicting the characters using their left hand, for ''proof''. 2 is good, 3 is perfect.
